See the buildup. Then decide on the sweep.
Soot on the hearth tells you little about the flue. We look inside, protect the room and explain what kind of cleaning the deposits need.

The scope
What we check and document.
- Photograph the flue and firebox before cleaning
- Protect the hearth and collect loosened deposits
- Check the damper, smoke shelf and accessible termination
- Photograph the cleaned areas and note remaining concerns
Know the limits before work starts.
A sweep removes deposits. It does not repair a split liner or replace a damaged crown. Those findings get a separate written scope.
We show you the finding, agree the work and attach photographs to the invoice. Any change to the scope comes back to you for approval.

Before you book
Questions we can answer now.
Does every inspection lead to sweeping?
No. We recommend cleaning from what we find and how the fireplace is used.
What should I send before the visit?
A clear photo of the fireplace or vent, your ZIP code and a short description of the problem. Add the model plate for a gas appliance.
