The scope
What we check and document.
- Assess the entry point and signs of occupancy
- Identify protected nesting activity before work
- Coordinate a wildlife specialist where appropriate
- Clean and cap only when the flue is legally clear
Know the limits before work starts.
Chimney swifts, their eggs and occupied nests are federally protected. Do not light a fire, smoke birds out or remove an active nest.
We show you the finding, agree the work and attach photographs to the invoice. Any change to the scope comes back to you for approval.

Before you book
Questions we can answer now.
Can an active swift nest be removed for a cleaning?
Routine cleaning must wait. We plan around protected nesting activity rather than disturbing it.
What should I send before the visit?
A clear photo of the fireplace or vent, your ZIP code and a short description of the problem. Add the model plate for a gas appliance.
