The scope
What we check and document.
- Measure the opening and hearth
- Inspect the existing chimney route
- Check listed clearances and venting requirements
- Confirm installation, access and finish work
Know the limits before work starts.
A product that fits through the opening is not automatically compatible. Final selection follows the appliance instructions and site assessment.
We show you the finding, agree the work and attach photographs to the invoice. Any change to the scope comes back to you for approval.

Before you book
Questions we can answer now.
Will the existing chimney need work?
It may. The insert needs the venting system specified by its manufacturer.
What should I send before the visit?
A clear photo of the fireplace or vent, your ZIP code and a short description of the problem. Add the model plate for a gas appliance.
